Isolating appended search results

The functions in the Search Results view apply to all the results in the window, including all documents that you have located and appended search results.

You must isolate the search results if you want to work with only a subset of the results in the Search Results view.

To isolate search results:

  1. In the Search Results view, select the title of the search.
  2. Right-click and select Isolate Results.

    The Search Results view now only displays the results of the search selected.

    Note: If you isolate the Locator results, all the results are displayed on a single page. If you have many results (for example, 200 or more), loading the page may take a while.

    If you isolate the Search results, they are displayed over multiple pages.

  3. Apply any of the functions on the isolated results.
