Auto-translation and the sequential localization method
Auto-translation is optional in the sequential localization method and can be enabled or disabled in the configuration (in the localizationManagers.xml file).
When auto-translating files, the CCMS resets
attributes to the latest value in Authoring. This is useful since most attributes should
not be modified by the localizing team. However, some attributes do need to be
localized; navtitles
are a good example of such
attributes. You can configure the CCMS (in the
localizationManagers.xml file) to treat some
attributes as localized content and not reset these attributes during auto-translation.
