Why can't I check in a configuration file in TEXTMLadmin view?

A custom properties file was inadvertently created for the configuration file.

Description

When trying to check in a configuration file, the Error Log view shows Invalid custom properties. You either opened the indexed content file or inadvertently created a customproperties file for the configuration file so when you try to check in the file, the system detects the invalid file and fails. Configuration files do not have custom properties files.

Solution

Navigate to your TEXMLadmin workspace and remove the custom properties file. A sample path to the workspace is C:\Users\username\TextmlAdminWorkspace43\TextmlAdmin\Server2500\Docbase\Repository\system\conf.
