Configuring the Translation Manifest and Language Manifest workflows

The CCMS provides a default workflow for Translation Manifests and Language Manifests but you can change this to fit your own needs.

The workflows for both Translation Manifests and Language Manifests must be identical. To configure the workflows for both, use the system/conf/translationmanifest_status.xml file.

This file works identically to all other _status.xml files. For an explanation of these files, see Understanding the *_status configuration files.

Language Manifests are parents to the content objects they reference. Therefore, be sure that the status levels for these objects in the Translation cycle have appropriate values relative to the levels for the Language Manifests statuses. This ensures that you can smoothly move Language Manifests through their workflow as their child objects progress from to be translated to in translation to Translation:in review to Translation:done.
