Using the Resource Editor

Resource Editor provides you access to a list of all the files within a resource and the resource metadata. Use Resource Editor to manage your uploaded files.

Resources always open in Resource Editor in a read-only mode first, unless you already checked out the resource. To edit a resource, check it out by either clicking Edit or Edit icon.

You can edit any of the following for a resource while in Resource Editor:

  • Change the title of the resource
  • Change the resource type
  • Change the description for the resource
  • Change the description for a file
  • Delete files in a resource
  • Upload new files for a resource

Tip:

You can click on any of the panels to access or hide the related content.

  • Details icon Details panel: Provides additional information for the object such as status, assignees, and last check in date

  • Taxonomy Terms icon Taxonomy Terms panel: Provides the taxonomy terms currently applied to the object
