Upload and add an image to a topic

If the image you need does not already exist as an object in IXIA CCMS Web, you must add it, which requires an upload.

1. Check out the topic.
2. Select the appropriate context map.

   You must select a context map to insert an image. Without a context map, the icon is dimmed.

3. Within the Topic Editor, click .
4. On the Insert image dialog, choose one of the following actions to upload an image:
   • Click Upload Image, then select an image from your computer.
   • Drag and drop an image onto the Upload Image area.

   If this option is not available, you might lack appropriate permissions to upload images. Contact your System Administrator.

   A dialog appears containing the uploaded image.

5. In the Image title field, add information that provides context for the image. You may have a naming convention that controls what you enter.
6. From the Type dropdown list, select the image type.
7. In the Description field, add a summary of the image.
8. Click Insert.
