After you have updated to a new build or version, you should change
the build number in the textmlservercfg.properties
file to reflect the current version number.
About this task
When you upgrade a Content Store to
version 7.4, it does not require any configuration updates.
However, you should still review your configuration to make sure that it is optimized
for any new features.
Procedure

In the /system/conf
folder, check out and open the textmlservercfg.properties file.

Set the value of
ixia.cms.version to the build of IXIA CCMS Desktop that you are installing.
Where:
xxx is the build number.
Note: If this
value is higher than the build number for CCMS Desktop, you may receive errors in CCMS Desktop. However, this value can be lower than
the actual build number.

Save, close, and check in the file.

Choose from one of the following actions:
- If your update only involves a build, inform users of the changes and
request they close and reopen their CCMS Desktop
to apply the changes.
- If your update involves an upgrade to a new version of CCMS, you must deploy upgraded versions of CCMS Desktop before you inform users.
