Generate localized output with OGAT

You can generate localized output for your translated content from the Development Environment as part of your output validation process.

CCMS Web localization is distinct from the process used by CCMS Desktop. While each generates its own output for each of its translation languages, it is possible for you to indirectly obtain output for content localized using CCMS Web by using OGAT.

To generate localized output in OGAT:

1. In CCMS Desktop, create a build manifest that is specifically for web-localized output, using the process identified in the IXIA CCMS Desktop User Guide.
2. Confirm that the build manifest has a workflow status of Translation:done or its equivalent.
3. Click and in the resulting CMS Configuration pane, point the Output Generator hostname to the OGAT hostname provided to you, such as changing app-test.acme.ixiasoft.com to app-dev-og.acme.ixiasoft.com.
4. Click Apply and Close.
5. Right-click the map for output and select Generate Output.
6. In the resulting dialog, select the output format and ditaval, if any, and click Create.
7. When output generation completes, you can save the output to a specified location and examine it and its related log file at your leisure.
