Import the system configuration
Now that you have created the docbase, you need to import the IXIA CCMS system configuration.
About this task
The system configuration is available as a ZIP file from the MadCap Software download site.
To import the system configuration:
Procedure
- Go to the MadCap Software download site:
- Open the CCMS_ContentStoreConfiguration folder.

Select either the STD (Standard) or DRM (IXIA Dynamic Release Management) directory.
Please choose the version corresponding to your subscription module.

Choose one of the following zipped files, corresponding to the version of DITA
for implemention:
- ccms-config-<base or DRM>-<dita1.2>-<cms version>.zip, or
- ccms-config-<base or DRM>-<dita1.3>-<cms version>.zip
For example: ccms-config-base-dita1.3-5.0.217.zip. - Copy the file to the machine where you have access to IXIA TEXTML Server Admin Java console or the TEXTML Administration perspective of the CCMS Desktop.

Unzip the file in to a temporary directory. Once extracted, this unzipped file
contains the following directories:
config
: Contains the system configuration and index definition*.xls
: Utility XSL files designed to help maintain the system configuration
- Open IXIA TEXTML Server Administration Console.
- Connect to the TEXTML Server containing the docbase.
- Select the docbase and go to the Repository folder.

Right-click Repository,
then select Insert Documents.
The Insert Documents Dialog is displayed.
- Click Add Folder, then go to the config/system/ directory.
- Click Ok.
- In the resulting Insert Documents dialog that references the /system/ folder, make sure that the Replace and Indexable options are unchecked.

Click OK.
The System folder is imported.
- Right-click the Index Definition document for the docbase and then select Lock.
- Right-click the Index Definition document again and then select Import.

In the Open window, go to the indexdefinition.xml file in
the config directory and click
Open.
The Index Definition document is imported.
- Right-click the Index Definition document again and then select Check in.
