Why doesn't my saved search provide the expected results?

Changes to indexes that are part of saved search queries can cause unexpected search results.

Description

A saved search query doesn't load all saved values and the resulting search results are inaccurate because a search index has been removed from the indexdefinitions file by the System Administrator. This search index was part of a saved search query. When a user loads their saved query, the missing parameters are not loaded in the search panels. There is no warning or error message provided.

Solution

When search indexes are removed, users need to review their saved queries. If the deleted index is part of their query, save a new query.
