(Linux) Updates to builds of IXIA TEXTML Server

If your build of IXIA TEXTML Server is older than TEXTML Server 4.4.1.5299, you must upgrade to TEXTML Server 4.4.1.5299 or a later build. This does not require a full upgrade procedure, but it does require several steps including uninstalling one version and installing another.

Do not follow the procedures in this section if you are upgrading from an earlier version of TEXTML Server, such as TEXTML Server 4.3. These instructions are only for updating a build within the same version of TEXTML Server.
Follow the identified sequence:
  1. (Linux) Stop the TEXTML Server service
  2. (Linux) Delete an instance of IXIA TEXTML Server
  3. (Linux) Download TEXTML Server installer
  4. (Linux) Install IXIA TEXTML Server
  5. (Linux) Configure winbind to expand nested groups
  6. (Linux) Start the IXIA TEXTML Server service
