Content and object management
IXIA CCMS Web manages content as a variety of objects according to its specified workflow.
Content management begins with an understanding of how to organize content into discrete components and then to determine how different object types interact with one another within a given structure or framework. To help you to quickly and efficiently manage your content, here are some suggestions:
- Use object icons and their related colors as clues for indicating object type, its state, and current actions associated with that object in that workflow phase
- Use breadcrumbs to trace the lineage of an object and its location within its context
- Clearly identify each stage or status related to the workflow associated with document and content creation
- Determine any dependencies among objects as part of the content creation and reuse process
