Preview a map

You can view the contents of a map using the Show Preview command.

When you use the Show Preview command, the objects in the map are listed, as shown below:

Some notes:
  • You need Output Generator Version 4.0 and up to preview a map.
  • The Conditionals panel, which is displayed in the Preview view for topics that contain conditions, is not displayed for maps.
Note:

To view the contents of a map:

  1. Open the Preview view.
  2. Use Search to find the map to preview.
  3. Right-click the map and select Show Preview.
    The preview of the map is displayed.
