Content reuse using objects
Multiple maps can point to the same object so that any edits to that object are reflected in every parent map.
Content reuse makes the authoring process more efficient and consistent. There are also specific kinds of reusable content you can leverage:
For example, as you author a topic, you might replace a product name with a key. Now if the product name changes, you only need to update the one instance of the name in the key. The new name automatically updates everywhere you used it, so you don't have to manually find and replace every instance of the product name you manually entered in every document where it's mentioned.
Note: Unless you branch the object, such reuse
does not create copies of the object, all references point to the same object
identified or referenced by each map. If you edit the original object, that
update is reflected wherever the object is used.
