You can create a Collaborative Review (CR) to obtain feedback for
source or translated content.
You can create a CR to obtain feedback from subject matter experts (SMEs) for a map
or a language manifest that meets the following criteria:
Note: Your deployment of IXIA CCMS might require that maps are in a
specific status to create a Collaborative Review.

Find a map or language manifest that requires a CR.
Note: You can create a CR from anywhere you see the map,
such as in Map Editor or your Favorites list.

Click , and select New Collaborative Review from the
More Options menu.
The New Collaborative Review dialog
opens.

Enter a title for the CR according to proper naming conventions, and then click
Next.
- Optional:
To create a CR with a redline comparison, do the
following:

Click Add an object.

In the Redline with - Add an object search list,
select a snapshot, Approval, or another CR to compare with the CR you
are creating. You can also search for a snapshot, Approval, or CR to
compare.

Click option button for the related object.
-
Click OK.
-
Click Next.
Note: If you generate a PDF of the CR,
the PDF will also show the redline comparison.
- Optional:
To apply a ditaval to conditions in the CR, choose one of the
following actions:

Click Add Ditaval.

Search for a ditaval.
-
Click the option button for the related ditaval.
-
Click OK.
-
Click Next.
The
Assignments section opens. You are automatically assigned if your active role allows you
to change the CR status.
You can click to change the assignment or to delete it.

Click Add Role.

From the Role drop-down list, select a role.
The role you choose determines the
available users you can assign. For a user with multiple roles, you can only
assign each role once.

From the Users drop-down list, select users for the assignment
role.
You can select as many users as you want
with this role up to the maximum number of assignees allowed, which depends
on your system configuration for the role.
Tip: You can type in a name to
search for a user. If there are more than 250 users, some users might only
appear in the list when you search for them.
- Optional:
In the Comment field, add a comment for assigned users to see in the
expanded row information of the object.
Note: This comment is also added to the revision history of the
object assigned.

Either enter a date or click to pick one.
The correct format for dates is yyyy/mm/dd. For example:
2020/05/31.

Pick an assignment rule for the users:

the role does not already allow users to change the status. This

Click Add.
- Optional:
Add additional roles using the steps above.
You can only add a role once. You can select multiple users
for the specified role.

Click Next.
- Optional:
To generate a PDF that reviewers can download, select
Yes.

Click Create.
CCMS Web begins generating a CR.Note: Since CCMS Web generates a CR
snapshot as an output, a CR can fail to generate if there are errors. Review the
related output log error messages to troubleshoot.
Click on the resulting My Outputs link to
access the My Outputs page to see the progress and take one of the
following actions:

Double-click on the CR title to open its online version.

If you generated a PDF of a CR, you can download it from the My Outputs page. Reviewers can download the PDF from the
table of contents in a Collaborative Review.
