You send images to the translation team in a separate package. An
image localization kit contains everything the team needs to translate the
images.
The images as well as the map or topic that contains the images must have the status
Localization:tb translated (or its equivalent in your workflow).
Note: You do not create an image localization kit directly from an image. You create it
from the map or topic that contains the image(s) you want to localize.
To prepare an image localization kit:
-
Search for the map(s) or topic(s) that contain the
images:
-
Open the Search
view.
-
In the Cycles
panel, select the Localization
checkbox.
-
In the Document
Types panel, select Maps and/or Topics, depending on if you are localizing images in
one topic or a map.
-
In the Languages
panel, select the target language(s).
-
Click Search.
All maps or topics that are being localized in these
languages appear in the Search Results
view.
-
In the Search Results
view, right-click the map or topic you are localizing and select .
A Progress
Information dialog appears as the image localization kit
containing all the images in the map or topic is generated and zipped.
-
After the image localization kit is prepared, do one of the
following:
- If Auto save is enabled, the Prepare Image Localization Kit dialog displays the location
where the file was saved. Click OK.
- If Auto save is not enabled, the Save As dialog appears. Pick a filename and
location, then click Save.
Once the images are translated,
you must import them back into IXIA CCMS Desktop.
