Remove soft links

You can remove soft links from an object when they are no longer necessary.

1. Open the Dependencies view for the object from which to remove the link.
   For example, to remove the link from a map to a FrameMaker legacy documentation object, open the Dependencies view for this map.
2. If soft links are not listed in the dependencies for this map, click Show soft links () in the Dependencies view.
3. Expand the Outward Soft Links category, right-click the link to remove, and select Remove from soft links.
   The link is removed.
