Maximize, minimize, or restore a view

Views and editors have Maximize, Minimize, and Restore controls at the top to give you more layout options.

  • To minimize a view or set of views: Click the minimize symbol (a in the figure below). The views collapse and a restore symbol appears in the margin of your workspace.
  • To maximize a view: Click the maximize symbol (b in the figure below). The view is maximized.
  • To restore a view or set of views: Click the restore icon (c in the figure below). The views are restored to their original size and position.
