You can add a reference to a resource in a topic. You could use this to include sample files and templates in your documentation.
You must check out the topic.
- In Topic Editor, click where you want to insert the resource.
- Add an element that accepts an
@href
or @keyref
attribute.
For example, if your deployment has integrated
<audio>
or
<video>
elements, you can add a
<param>
element within them. The
<param>
element can be given an
@href
or
@keyref
attribute.
Alternatively, a <param>
element can also be inserted in an <object>
element.
- Click inside the element (for example
<param>
), and do one of the following:
- Click and select Resource.
- Right-click and select Link>Resource.
The Resources dialog appears.
- Click , and then select Resource.
- Click OK.
- Use the Search to find the resource that you want.
- Click the checkbox for the resource that you want to insert.
- Click Insert.
The resource is inserted within the element.
