After you have updated to a new build or version, you should change
the build number in the textmlservercfg.properties
file to reflect the current version number.

In the /system/conf
folder, check out and open the textmlservercfg.properties file.

Set the value of
ixia.cms.version to the build of IXIASOFT CCMS Desktop that you are installing.
For
example:
ixia.cms.version=6.8.XXX
Where
xxx is the build number.
Note: If this value is higher than the
build number for CCMS Desktop, you may receive errors in CCMS Desktop. However, this value can be lower than
the actual build number.

Save, close, and check in the file.

If you are only updating a build, inform users of the changes
and request that they close and reopen their CCMS Desktop to apply the changes.
If you are upgrading to a new version of CCMS, you need to deploy upgraded
versions of CCMS Desktop before
informing users.
