Start or restart the IXIASOFT CCMS Web service on Windows

This procedure describes how to start the IXIASOFT CCMS Web service in Windows.

Note: The service name is the one you specified in the CCMS Web's configuration file (properties.txt). This procedure uses the default windows service name: Ixiasoft Tomcat CCMS.
  1. On the IXIASOFT CCMS Web Server, click Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools.
  2. Double-click Services.
    The Services dialog opens.
  3. By default, the service is run as the Local System account. To run the service as another user, do the following:
    1. Double-click the Ixiasoft Tomcat CCMS service in the services list.
      The Properties dialog open.
    2. Click the Log On tab and enter the information for the user account.
    3. Click OK.
  4. Select the Ixiasoft Tomcat CCMS service in the services list.
  5. Beside the list of services, click one of the following:
    • If the service is currently running, click Restart the service.
    • If the service is not running, click Start the service.

    The Status column changes for the Ixiasoft Tomcat CCMS service.
