Reinstall IXIASOFT CCMS Output Generator as a new instance

If the entire IXIASOFT CCMS Output Generator needs to be reinstalled, you can use your backup files to facilitate the process.

If you have stored a copy of the installation package (.zip file) of the version you had installed with your backup, you can use it to reinstall the component. If you do not have a copy of the original installation package, then you can download a new version of CCMS Output Generator from the web site. Once you have the installation package, you can use your backup files as you follow the installation and configuration instructions.

To reinstall:

  1. Use either the downloaded installation package or the .zip file from your backup and extract the files in the %OutputGenDir% folder.
  2. Install CCMS Output Generator as described in Installing IXIASOFT CCMS Output Generator by using your backup files as a guide. Either replace and edit the files as needed or compare the files to your backup files.
  3. Configure CCMS Output Generator as described in Administration Guide for IXIASOFT CCMS Output Generator again using the backup files as needed. In particular, make sure you replace the DTD, plugins, and transformation scenarios.
  4. Start the service.
