Add an existing image to a topic

Images that have already been uploaded to IXIASOFT CCMS Web can be searched for and inserted within topics.

You must check out the topic, and it must have a context map.

Note: In IXIASOFT Dynamic Release Management a topic needs a context map if you want to add images to it. If there is no context map for a topic, the Insert Image icon icon is greyed out.

To insert an image:

  1. Within Topic Editor, click Insert Image icon.

    The Insert image dialog appears.

  2. In the Display Name field, enter the name of the image you want.
  3. From the Type drop-down list, choose the type of image you are looking for.
  4. Click Search.
  5. From results, choose the image you want.
  6. On the image, click Insert.
