The IXIASOFT CCMS Web Interface
A tour of the features and functions of the IXIASOFT CCMS Web interface.
When CCMS Web launches, it loads on the My Assignments page. This page gives you an initial view of all the objects that have been assigned to you, including:
The My Assignments page provides access to additional functions, such as the ability to view and edit content, to sort your assignments, and to search for help. Depending on your role, additional functions may be accessible, such as the ability to create a new map or work with the Administrator tools.
The My Assignments page has three main areas:
- The Navigation area
- The Dashboard area
- The List of Assignments
The Navigation area
You can use the Navigation area for basic functions and paths to different features of CCMS Web.
Here are the main icons and their functions:

The Dashboard area
The Dashboard area summarizes how many assignments you have and where work is on them.
Here are the main features within the Dashboard area:
Feature | Description |
---|---|
The number in round brackets denotes the number of objects that have been assigned for you to work on. | |
A chart detailing the breakdown of types of content assigned to you. | |
How many objects are checked out by you. Clicking this brings up all objects currently checked out by you. | |
The number of assignments that are due or past due. Clicking on this brings up all assignments that are due from you. |
List of Assignments
The List of Assignments is where you will do most of your work in CCMS Web.
Many functions of this area are described in depth elsewhere, here is a quick overview of some of its major features:
- The first column has an icon showing what type of object the assignment is, such as a topic, map, or Collaborative Review, and if the assignment is checked out.
- The second column has the title of the assignment, and shows the Context Map it is in.
- The third column displays the work state of a given assignment.
- The last column shows the actions available to you for that assignment, such as whether you can edit or move it.
