There are situations where you know topics will be required within a map
but do not yet know what they will be called. In this case, create a map with empty topics,
known as stub topics.
To create a map with stub topics:

Click , and select New Map.
The New Map page opens. If you want to exit
it, click X.

In the Title field,
enter a descriptive name for the new map and click Next.

From the drop-down menu, select a language and click Next.

For the template, choose map with
topic stubs and click Next.

If you are using DRM, you must do the following:

Select a product or library.
You can use the Search to find the correct one.

Click Next.

Select a branch.
-
Click Create.
The new map appears in Map
View, with a grayed-out topic.

For the topic, click Actions and select Generate.
A dialog appears.

Click Generate.
You can rename this stub topic and add content to it. You can also add
more topics to the map.
