Replying to annotations

Multiple reviewers can discuss something by responding to an annotation.

Any user can reply to an original annotation or to another reply, so reviewers can use replies to discuss the content.

But only the user who added that reply can edit it or delete it. All replies to an annotation are locked except for the most recent reply.

To reply to an annotation:

  1. Find the annotation in the Annotation side panel, or hover over the highlighted text in the topic.
    As you hover, the Annotations pop-up appears.
  2. In either the Annotation pop-up or Annotations side panel, click Reply icon.
  3. Enter your comments.
  4. Click Save.
Your annotation appears in the Annotations side panel as a reply to previous comments that other collaborative reviewers have made.
