Access files in the Content Store (Check In, Check Out, and Undo Check Out)
To make changes in a configuration file, you need to obtain a workable copy of it (check out the file) and then update the Content Store once your changes are done (check in the file).
To make changes to files, you must first get a workable copy of the file from the Content Store and save it to your local workspace, which is referred to as "checking out" a file. Once you have finished modifying the file, you need to save the file and then send it back to the Content Store so its copy is updated, which is referred to as "checking in" a file.
Note: This can be applied within a Hosted environment, but only within a test server.
