Install and start Scheduler daemon (Linux)

To install IXIASOFT CCMS Scheduler on Linux, you install Scheduler as a daemon and then start it.

Note: Some of these steps require root permissions.
  1. Open a command-line interface to the Linux server.
  2. Create a symlink that points to scheduler.sh, which is located in the %SchedulerDir%/bin directory, by running the following command as root: 
    ln -sf /opt/ixiasoft/scheduler/bin/scheduler.sh /etc/init.d/scheduler
  3. Install Scheduler as a service: 
    /sbin/chkconfig --add scheduler
  4. Adjust the run level: 
    /sbin/chkconfig --level 24 scheduler off
  5. Start the Scheduler service: 
    /sbin/service scheduler start
  6. Check for successful startup by by looking at the wrapper.log file located in the %SchedulerDir%/logs folder
