Updating previous versions of topics, images, and resources
You can apply changes made in a new object version back to another
version.
For example, let's say that version 2 of Task1 should also be applied to
version 1 (MapA v1). You then simply update version 2 of Task1 to version 1, as
shown below:
When version 2 of Task1 is updated to version 1, the CCMS updates Container_v1 so that KeyB now references
Version 2 of the topic.
To update an object to another version:
Right-click the object that you want to update and select Dynamic Release Management > Update to.
The Update with dialog is displayed.
It lists the versions that contain the object:
Select the version that you want to update and click
OK.
The object is updated.
Tip: If the update results in orphans (objects that are not referenced by any other
object in the repository), the orphaned objects appear in the
Replace with Objects in Versions dialog box. To
perform other operations on the orphans, click the
Locate button. This opens a list of the objects in
the Search Results view.
