Localizing content in IXIA CCMS Web
.
In many ways, localizing content in CCMS Web is very similar to localizing content in CCMS Desktop but it improves and speeds up the process. If you have a robust process, you can probably transfer it to CCMS Web with very few, if any, changes.
The localization process inCCMS Web follows these general steps:
- Move the map to
Authoring:done
(if you are using sequential localization). - Localize the map to create a Translation Manifest and Language Manifest(s).
- Generate the localization kit (if you did not generate it previously).
- Download the localization kit and send it to your LSP.
- Import the translated content you receive from your LSP.
- Review the translated content and make any necessary corrections.
- Generate outputs from the translated content.
This section explains each of these steps and provides detail about the new Unified Localization concepts such as Translation Manifest and Language Manifest.
