Localizing content in IXIA CCMS Web

.

In many ways, localizing content in CCMS Web is very similar to localizing content in CCMS Desktop but it improves and speeds up the process. If you have a robust process, you can probably transfer it to CCMS Web with very few, if any, changes.

The localization process inCCMS Web follows these general steps:

  1. Move the map to Authoring:done (if you are using sequential localization).
  2. Localize the map to create a Translation Manifest and Language Manifest(s).
  3. Generate the localization kit (if you did not generate it previously).
  4. Download the localization kit and send it to your LSP.
  5. Import the translated content you receive from your LSP.
  6. Review the translated content and make any necessary corrections.
  7. Generate outputs from the translated content.

This section explains each of these steps and provides detail about the new Unified Localization concepts such as Translation Manifest and Language Manifest.
