Example: Compare topic links in different maps

This example shows how to determine if a topic links to another topic that is in a different map.

To compare topic links in different maps:
  1. For the first topic, click Plus d'options icon, and then select Dépendances.

You can check a topic's dependencies from any of the following places:

    • Favoris side panel
    • Éditeur de carte in Structure view
    • Mes attributions
    • Historique de révision
    • Rechercher
    • Éditeur de rubrique
  2. To locate the map the current topic is in, click Référencé par.
  3. Click the Cartes button.
This shows all the maps this topic is currently in.
  4. Click Références.
  5. Click the Références croisées/Liens associés button.
  6. Find the second topic, and click Dépendances icon.
  7. Click Référencé par.
  8. Click the Cartes button.
This shows all the maps that include the topic that is the target of the link. If none of these maps are the same as the map that includes the first topic, then the two topics are in different maps.
