Add taxonomy terms to a single document as keywords

Use this procedure to add terms from the Taxonomy Terms list as keyword within the body of a document.

The document must be locked.
This procedure lets you add existing taxonomy terms as keywords in the body of a document.
Note: If you want to add taxonomy terms to the document’s prolog, use the Add taxonomy terms to a single document as metadata procedure.
  1. Place your cursor where you want to insert the term.
    You can put a term anywhere it's valid to insert a <keyword> element.
  2. Open the Select Taxonomy Terms dialog box:
    • For oXygen XML Editor: Click the Insert taxonomy as metadata icon.
    • For XMetaL XML Editor: From the XML Document menu, select Add Taxonomy Terms to Metadata.
  3. Select the terms you want to add to your document, then click OK.
    The selected terms are added as keywords at the cursor's position.
