Obtain data source directory location

This procedure gives you a quick way of obtaining the full path of the IXIASOFT CCMS data source for use within the Report Design Perspective.

When you create a BIRT data source, you'll need to specify the location of your IXIASOFT CCMS data source inside the repository. You can obtain the data source location from the Data Source item in the Queries panel of the Search view.

The data source directory is automatically created in your local copy of the repository when you create your first data source TSV file.

  1. If necessary, open the DITA Perspective.
  2. If necessary, open the Queries panel of the Search view.
  3. Right-click the Data Source item, and select Copy > Copy Local Folder Path.
The full path to the data source directory in your local repository is copied to the clipboard. You can paste this into the dialog where you specify the location of the BIRT data source.
