About change indicators
Change indicators show where text has been revised.
When change tracking is on, you'll see a change bar in the margin. You'll also see new and deleted text displayed in some sort of distinctive style or color: strikethrough for deletions or red for new text, for example. The display options are configurable and will vary according to your system.
When you hover your cursor over changed text, you'll see the name of the person who made the changes, and the date and time that the changes were made.
Unless they are explicitly removed, change indicators stay in a file through the review cycle until it is promoted to Authoring:done (or its equivalent in your workflow). At that point the system removes them automatically.
