Insert processing instruction

This procedure lets you insert processing instructions into the current document.

1. Open your topic in the XMetaL editor.
2. Place your cursor where you want the processing instructions to be inserted.
3. Then, either:
   • Press CTRL+/.
   • On the Insertion toolbar, click the Insert Processing Instruction button ().
   • From the menu bar, select XML Document > Insert > Processing Instruction.

An empty processing instructions tag will be inserted into your document.

Enter processing instructions as required.
