Insert an image into a topic

This procedure inserts a reference to an image into a topic in a text-based editor.

Note: This procedure does not add an image to the Content Store. It inserts a reference to an image that already exists in the Content Store.
  1. Open and lock the topic into which you want to insert an image.
  2. Place the cursor where you want to insert the image.
  3. Search for the image you want to use.
    For example, you can perform a search to display it in the Search Results view.
  4. Right-click the image, then select one of the following depending on your XML editor:
    • For oXygen XML Editor: Oxygen Editor > Insert Image.
    • For XMetaL XML Editor: XMetaL Editor > Insert Image from the menu.
